Maine Veterans in Need's mission is "to assist veterans and their dependents who are in need, to advocate for those in active crisis/emergency, to prevent homelessness, and to help those who are homeless to transition into stable housing."
18 Mar 2025 David A. Patch, CDR USN (Ret) Maine Veterans in Need Mar 18, 2025 7:30 AM David is a 25 year career Naval officer, having graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1966. He served 5 tours in Vietnam, both on off the coast and in-country. He completed his Naval career on the staff of the Chief of Naval Operations. After retiring from the Navy he spent 20 years in the private sector focusing on Research and Development as a contractor for the Navy, the last ten years as a partner in small companies. Since his retirement from the private sector in 2011, Dave has been dedicated to supporting veterans and people with disabilities.
