Meeting Notes:
This week's meeting was a board meeting held on Zoom.
Pam and Andy reported on the PELS event in Framingham last weekend. 500 attendees from all over New England came together for this high energy event. Rotary International President-Elect came from Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Interact grads will be celebrated at the April 15th meeting.
It was voted not to provide funding support for the Geography Quiz event, since it is being funded by others.
Blayne currently has nine RYLA students signed up. RYLA has volunteered to pay for one. We will approach nearby clubs to to see if they assist.
Pam, Marie, and Brad will be the committee that will review the applications for the annual scholarship to be awarded to a graduating Traip Academy senior.
California Fires Followup - Andy will send funds to the Los Angeles are Rotary District.
Little League Sponsorship - It was voted to sponsor a Little League team with the After Hours club at $200 per club. The players will have t-shirts with "Kittery Rotary" on the back. It was also voted to purchase a large banner for the field with After Hours that would say "Kittery Rotary Clubs" at $100 per club.
May Magic Calendar Raffle Update - Andy distributed via email a packet that includes a sample calendar, the "Look at What We Do" flyer, and a list of who contributed what last time in the fall of 2023.
It was agreed to continue membership in the Chamber of Commerce.
