October 21 Meeting
Our guests at this meeting were Kittery Town Council candidates Megan Greenwood and Celeste Fisher Bragg and Portsmouth Rotary Club member Leonard Seagren.
Megan and Celeste introducted themselves and talked about some of the issues facing Kittery. Leonard, who has been a Rotarian since the mid-1980's, talked about some of his experiences, highlighting his and Rotary's involvement with Friends Forever.
Andy gave a review of Rotary's focus on eradicating polio. A couple of high points - there have been only 9 or 10 cases of polio in the world last year and that over the years, 2.5 billion children have been vaccinated against polio
50/50 Raffle - the pot was at $95 and the deck was still pretty full ...
... the pot remains at its present amount and the deck is reduced by one card.
We have a lot going on in the near future - check out the Upcoming Events below.
