Lake Worth Florida Rotary Club
President Pauli announced that October 16th, the Kittery Community Center was holding another Volunteer evening, Andy volunteered to take the lead to organize our attendance
October 24th will be a Pints for Polio event at the Tributary Brewery with the Kittery Rotary Afterhours Club, $1 a drink goes toward the fight to end Polio. Family and friends are invited and encouraged to join us.
Contrary to the prior schedule, there will be no Tuesday meeting next week, the board meeting will be at 1;30 PM on Wednesday October 9.
Bob Guay presented the design of pins for the Community Champions. A motion was made to spend the approximated $200 cost for an order of the pins and packaging, the motion was seconded and approved by Club vote.
50-50 Raffle: 50% of the funds go to club operating expense and 50 % goes into the "Pot". The holder of the selected raffle ticket gets to try to select the Joker from the deck. The "pot' is currently $233.50 and the holder of the lucky ticket was Andy.

On last Friday, with the support of the Kittery Lions Club who provided most of the Crutches, we delivered 43 pairs to the District 7780 Crutches4Africa collection site in Old Orchard Beach. A smaller delivery that some we have taken up, but the storage area looks like they are getting close to being ready to send a 15th container overseas.
