As outgoing School Superintendent Eric Waddell observed in his opening remarks - at Rotary, we love to give money away.

That's exactly what we did at our June 17, 2025 meeting. We awarded four $1000 scholarships. Three were from the Class of 2025 and one from the Class of 2024, who took a gap year. The contestants were tasked with writing an essay incorporating Rotary's Four-Way Test. Winners from the Class of 2025 were selected from a field of 16 who submitted essays. The judges noted the exceptional quality of the entries this year.
