In our February 18, 2025 meeting, Dave Underhill shared information with us about Rotary Foundation's Endowment Fund and the ShareForever7780 Challenge.
Dave related how the ShareForever7780 challenge got off to a great start when a couple from our District made a million dollar challenge, that they would match what was raised, up to a million dollars. That challenge was more than met and that the fund is now up to over $4 million. Dave explained how donations to the Endowment is the gift that keeps on giving. Funds from the Endowment are invested and the income from those investments are then distributed in global and district grants. Half goes to the World Fund, and half comes back to our district.
