Linda Greer from Kittery Adult Education was our speaker on May 20, 2025.
Since 2019, Linda Greer has been the Director of Kittery and Marshwood Adult Education.
Kittery Adult Education is acommunity-based educational program, dedicated to providing lifelong learning opportunities for adults of all ages and backgrounds. Their motta is "Community Learning Together." A large part of Linda's presentation dealt with the need for high school completion classes. That need is shown by the fact that over 48,000 adult Mainers are without any high school credentials with over 22,000 of whom are not in the labor force. Along with the high school completion courses they also have trades, business, computer, and enrichment courses. Our CPR course was given through Kittery Adult Ed.
