The Club was honored  on December 17th  to be presented with a 'Bright Light Award" from the Choose to Be Healthy Coalition of York County.
 
 
 
At the Tuesday December 17th Meeting of the Rotary Club of Kittery, Sally Manninen, of the Choose to Be Healthy Coalition of York County , presented their "Bright Light Award" to the Club. The Award is in recognition of their unflagging support to service, their focus on youth development, community recognition,  and their unflagging support of local needs. through Scholarship programs, support of participation in Rotary Youth Leadership (RYLA ) programs, Students of the Month Program, youth service development all of which  encourage youth leadership, teamwork, development and growth. Accepting the recognition on behalf of the Club was Club co-president Brad Hirst. the club was nominated for the Award by School Superintendent Eric Waddell, a member of the Coalition and long time Rotary club member.
