November 26 2024 the Club recognized and celebrated the November Students of the Month for R.W.Traip Academy and Shapleigh School, Eden Varney and Joshua Palos.
The Rotary Club of Kittery recognized the November Students of the Month in a meeting held in the R.W. Traip Cafeteria, with School Administration, Teacher representatives, and family members present.

Students are selected by their respective schools and the students are presented by a school teacher or administrator who explains why and how the student was nominated. For Shapleigh school the selection rotates by Grades with input from throughout the school, For Traip, the lead rotates between departments and administration with input from throughout the school as well. Students may be nominated for academic performance, for personal achievement, for community service, either in school and or outside of school, for impact on the school, or he community. Usually it is many of those combined, and we are always impressed by what we hear and honored to have the chance to meet these students and their families ~ the November 2024 students were certainly no exception.
