The meeting February 4th was held at the Kittery Community Center at 0730.
Our meeting began with a recognition of a long time family member, reported in the "Stories" below:
We are collecting Tea this month o donate to Footprints Food Pantry along with the Kittery Afterhours Club, as part of the rotating community support program. Donations can be brought to the February 19th meeting.
We are also collecting soups for FootPrints as part of the Souper Bowl Challenge between the Kittery Lion's Club, the Kittery Afterhours Rotary Club , and the Rotary Club of Kittery, an email call to deliver donations will be sent out in a few days.
50-50 Raffle: Assistant Governor Pam had the lucky ticket drawn and the chance to try for the elusive Joker in the deck. There is now $361 in the "Pot"
But! ~ Pam caught the Queen of Spades instead! The pot will continue to grow, the Deck of Cards gets smaller.
Treasurer Andy showed off the new exchange banners that the Club ordered. One of these will accompany Andy and Pam on their upcoming travels, as they plan to visit a Rotary Club while away.

On February 4th our speaker was Past District 7780 Governor Mike McGovern. an individual devoted to Rotary at the highest levels. Mike is the past town manager of Cape Elizabeth,(up the road apiece) and took the time to share with the Club, details in "Stories" below.
